Co-created by choreographer Guillaume Côté and director Robert Lepage, Hamlet, Prince of Denmark immerses the viewer in a world of deceptive appearances where ghosts and humans meet within a minimalist scenography. Light, shadows, and transparency are central to the staging. This metaphorical reinterpretation of Shakespeare’s narrative traces the fine line between what is and what is not, revealing the workings of the mind through the movement of the body. An international touring co-production led by Ex Machina and Côté Danse, the piece features an original score by John Gzowski.
