“DIE FROMME HELENE” was presented as a unique lecture performance of a rediscovered, once-lost Viennese opera from the Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) era. Created by Adalbert von Goldschmidt with a libretto by Fanny Gröger, the event was produced by the Sing-Akademie zu Berlin and held on April 30, 2023, in the Festsaal of Schloss Britz, Berlin. It served as the finissage of the Wilhelm Busch exhibition at the venue, combining musical elements with contextual commentary to introduce the forgotten work to a contemporary audience.
