Karl Jenkins' ELOISE is an opera played for children and young people, but also by children and young people. Our own children's choir RAGAZZI carries all the opera's choir parts in collaboration with both adults and young soloists. In this way, Eloise is a production that takes care of all age groups both as performers and as the audience, which will stimulate opera interest on and off stage. Karl Jenkins' Eloise is a contemporary opera. It was written in 1997, and combines modern music forms with the musical genre and opera form, while the action is from a well-known fairytale and fantasy tradition; it is based on the tale of the twelve wild beasts. On stage, 45 children and young people participate in choirs and solo roles. With this, we believe that the prerequisites for good communication with a young audience are present.
