Alexei Ratmansky’s internationally acclaimed production of Don Quixote is a sun‑drenched, feel‑good ballet renowned for its high energy, temperament, and classical brilliance. First created in 2010, this staging brought the Netherlands its first complete Don Quixote and has since become a vibrant staple of the company’s repertoire. The 2024 revival returns the production to the Main Stage of Dutch National Opera & Ballet, showcasing exuberant character dances, virtuosic solos, and a warm, festive atmosphere.
