MOMO is described as having two distinct souls. One soul is deeply rooted in the earth, embodying archetypes and myths of hardened, raw masculinity. The other soul searches for an individual and distinct DNA. These two forces operate differently: one moves within its own autonomous force field, while the other is a constellation of elements orbiting a shared nucleus—alternately drifting away and returning to create space for tenderness and catharsis. The soundtrack draws primarily from Laurie Anderson’s Landfall with Kronos Quartet, alongside music by Philip Glass, Arca, and Maxim Waratt. On stage, a shared passion of deep sorrow and beauty unfolds. The artistic framework treats relinquishment as a dedicated search for a crack in the structure, where glitches in the movement code become free, playful, and emotive material. This Berlin engagement marks the German premiere of a work first seen in Tel Aviv in 2022, rooted in the Gaga movement language developed by Ohad Naharin.
