"Trascrizione di un errore" is a contemporary opera by Alexander Chernyshkov that premiered at La Biennale Musica in Venice. Conceived as "music for nine people in a theatre," it uses an unconventional palette of instruments and stage devices, integrating elevator relays, pin-technology printers, and obsolete floppy disks into the score. Two non-conventional poly-instrumentalists anchor the sonic world, while staging and scenography contribute to an immersive, proximity-based experience that departs from the traditional concert format. The project reflects the aesthetics of emerging electronic music and was developed within the Biennale College framework. Staging and scenography were led by Wolfgang Naegele, with dramaturgy by Isabelle Kranabetter and musical direction by Mathieu Mantanus.
