Saisonkonzert #1 – Herausgehört opens CAMERATA Salzburg’s 75th‑anniversary 2026/27 season. The title points to how past and present resonate in the chosen pieces: composers listen to tradition, musicians listen to each other, and audiences listen in. CAMERATA works without a chief conductor; this concert is led by rising British conductor Finnegan Downie Dear. French pianist Alexandre Tharaud appears as soloist, renowned for refined, poetic interpretations of French and early modern repertoire. The programme spans Bartók’s Divertimento Sz. 113, Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G, Kurtág’s Ligeti’s Century Op. 48 (Austrian premiere) and Haydn’s Symphony No. 103 “Drumroll.” A pre‑concert talk takes place 30 minutes before start in the Wiener Saal; five price categories (EUR 22–86; concessions EUR 14).
