About this event

This is an unstaged chamber concert centered on Eleanor Alberga's string-quartet cycle and Second Piano Quintet. The program features live music for strings and piano, with Alberga performing at the piano. It presents the U.S. premiere performance cycle of the three quartets alongside the world premiere of the Second Piano Quintet. The sequence is String Quartet No. 1, Piano Quintet No. 2 "Stark," intermission, String Quartet No. 3, and String Quartet No. 2. Festival Napa Valley presents the concert in collaboration with Brannan Center.
