The Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw’s annual end-of-year concert takes a festive turn this season with multiple Grammy-winning American jazz vocalist Kurt Elling as special guest. Under the banner Swinging Holidays, the elite Dutch big band presents a warm holiday program of swinging Christmas classics alongside gems from Elling’s own repertoire. Recognized as one of Europe’s leading big bands and recipient of multiple Edison Awards, the ensemble has previously welcomed guests such as José James, Oleta Adams, James Carter and Jazzmeia Horn; in 2026 it is Kurt Elling’s turn, praised for his virtuosity, wide range and soulful stage presence. This concert is part of a short Dutch tour with performances in Amsterdam, Tilburg and Heerlen.
