About this event

Under the baton of Henrik Schaefer, Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester and the Philharmonic Choir bring Bach’s Christmas Oratorio to four Southern Denmark venues. The performance focuses on the work’s jubilant baroque color, sparkling brass, dancing rhythms, and moments of hushed devotion. Schaefer’s approach aims for vivid, full-intensity delivery that immerses audiences in a festive, genuine Christmas atmosphere in each church and concert setting.
