This is a family concert-theatre adaptation of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland presented in a swing and jazz format. The production combines seventeen musicians from The Amazing Keystone Big Band with two actors. Its concept associates the figures and episodes of Wonderland with different jazz styles and references from music history. The White Rabbit is associated with virtuoso music by Duke Ellington, the fall down the rabbit hole with James Brown-inspired jazz-funk, the Caterpillar with jazz and reggae beats, the Mad Hatter with mambo, the Queen of Hearts with a brass band, and Alice's return to reality with a Count Basie-inspired blues. Sandra Nelson is credited with the adaptation, while Bastien Ballaz, Jon Boutellier, Fred Nardin and David Enhco are credited with direction. Yasmine Nadifi and Sébastien Denigues are the actors.
