About this event

ja nichts ist ok is a theatre production credited to René Pollesch and Fabian Hinrichs. Presented as a revival, it features Fabian Hinrichs with a group of named extras. Spoken domestic dialogue is placed beside an awareness of wider violence and suffering. A hypothetical theatrical situation involving dialogue, screams, and bombs in the background is rejected as a literal device, while the sound remains as an internal presence. The staging uses Anna Viebrock's set, Tabea Braun's costumes, Frank Novak's lighting, and dramaturgy by Anna Heesen and Johanna Kobusch. The production contrasts familiar domestic or comic language with illness, catastrophe, and social breakdown, relying on collision and interruption rather than conventional realism.
