About this event

Der Schnittchenkauf is a spoken-theatre production by René Pollesch presented as a revival. It is based on the book Der Schnittchenkauf 2011-2012, published in connection with the Galerie Buchholz exhibition René Pollesch: Der Dialog ist ein unverständlicher Klassiker. The staging examines theatre practice, the role of the stage designer as the first author of an evening, and the development of text during rehearsals. The set design is by Leonard Neumann, costumes by Tabea Braun, lighting by Florian Brückner and Denise Potratz, live camera by Jan Speckenbach, and dramaturgy by Anna Heesen.
