The Song Of The Stones Of The Monts De Blond – Boscartus, France

About this event

This production is a site-specific matri-patrimoine heritage walk in Cieux, beginning at the hamlet of Boscartus near the local "wobbly stone" site. Storytelling, voice and double bass are placed within the landscape rather than in a conventional theatre or concert venue. The contributors are Jean-François Vignaud, Occitan storyteller; Nelly Mousset, double bass; and Géraldine Keller, voice. The event is part of the Les Sons migratoires Festival. Its artistic format treats the Monts de Blond as both setting and subject, drawing on a landscape of dolmens, megaliths and menhirs and on oral tales and legends passed down through generations.
