About this event

Frangin·es is a choral and staged production by Ensemble Kaléis, a youth choir from Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It addresses gender inequality in a patriarchal society, including unequal pay and sexual and gender-based violence. Through song, physical expression and the collective voices of young performers, the production explores continuing injustices and struggles from the past and present.
