About this event

Sidirann's Journey is presented as an end-of-residency performance and a new creation by musician Gaspard Guerre. The project is a hybrid form combining a jazz quartet, a string quartet, a children's choir, poetry and painting. Its artistic field crosses jazz, classical music, progressive music and slam poetry. The subtitle identifies the project as the Gaspard Guerre septet. The instrumental setup comprises drums, double bass, piano, synthesizer, saxophone, violin, viola and cello, with sound engineering by Jean Benoit Gosse. No separate director, designer, choreographer, lighting designer or named visual artist is credited.
