About this event
Margo Literary Festival 15 is a one-evening anniversary gala within the Autumn Margó Literary Festival and Liszt Fest. It marks Margó's 15-year history through a mixed program of literature, dance, and music. The event is classified under popular music and is directed by Gábor Máté. Rather than presenting an archival or sentimental retrospective of the festival's former venues, the production portrays Margó as a project that developed from the margins through the contributions of writers, publishers, musicians, translators, and readers. It is presented as a variety show and large literary gala.
