Jedermann Reloaded presents Philipp Hochmair as the sole speaker embodying every figure in Hugo von Hofmannsthal's classic. The staging uses a two-microphone dialogue: one microphone serves Jedermann and the other the surrounding characters, creating a split between the central figure and the voices confronting him. The Elbphilharmonie describes the event as an electrified theatrical space between a rock concert and an existential psychological drama, also calling it an apocalyptic spoken concert. Die Elektrohand Gottes supplies the live band dimension, with guitar riffs and experimental sound worlds integrated into the performance. The production originated at Hamburg's Thalia Theater in 2013. Its performance structure retains jam-session energy, spontaneous moments, and direct audience proximity, so the live event can vary in its immediate execution while retaining the same core concept.
