About this event

This is an orchestral concert presented by the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra with Alan Gilbert as conductor. The programme consists of Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 in the Karl Müller-Berghaus orchestration, followed by Debussy's La mer and Ravel's Daphnis et Chloé, second symphonic suite. The musical arc moves through national folklore, the sea and an imagined classical Greece. No separate concept or visual staging is published.
