About this event

This is a chamber music concert series presented jointly by SWR Kultur and the Kulturamt der Stadt Ettlingen. The concerts take place in the Asamsaal in Ettlingen Castle, a fixed historic chamber venue known for its late-Baroque frescoes, generous proportions and acoustic qualities. The five-concert 2026–2027 season uses date-specific programmes rather than a single repeated production, moving from solo piano to cello and piano, early-music ensemble, string quartet and piano trio. The programmes combine established repertoire with less frequently performed works and a new piano-trio work by Karen Tanaka. Each concert is preceded by a free introduction at 17:30 and begins at 18:00. SWR Kultur records the concerts for radio and online distribution.
