About this event
This production is a Korean adaptation of Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore. The producer presents it as a version set not in the original Italian countryside but in a Korean rural village, where the central action concerns the search for genuine love. The adaptation is credited to Jung Sun-young, who is associated with the producing organization, 공연예술창작소 예술은감자다. The 2026 DIOF festival page places the work among the festival's invited productions and identifies the source work as G. Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore. The current DIOF event page does not publish a director, conductor, design team, cast, orchestra, chorus, staging notes or technical design credits. Those fields are therefore not inferred from earlier performances of the same title.
