제23회 대구국제오페라축제 `<투란도트>` – Daegu Student Culture Center, Daegu-si

About this event

The Daegu event is presented as a children's opera and is identified as a collaboration between Daegu Opera House and the Italian AsLiCo Opera domani project. The production relocates the action to a museum, where young Calaf, Timur, and Liù encounter statues, fine ceramics, traditional costumes, and period prints. An ancient manuscript animates the museum's artworks and turns the visit into an encounter with Turandot's riddles. The educational model includes preparation before the performance and interdisciplinary activities about the ancient East, museums, travel, the value of questions, and Puccini's life. The running time is 90 minutes including the educational component, with no intermission.
