This concert production combines three works by Alma Deutscher with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony. Alma Deutscher conducts the concert and is also the composer of the first three works performed. The performing ensemble is tfn_philharmonie. The first part presents a suite from cinderella, excerpts from die euterpides, and Sirenenklänge. The die euterpides excerpts are presented as the European first performance and world premiere of the orchestral version. The cinderella suite condenses the atmosphere of Deutscher's opera. cinderella was her first major stage work, created when she was eleven and premiered in Vienna in 2016. The opera presents Cinderella as a creative spirit and composer rather than as a passive figure. The second part features Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony, whose fate motif progresses from inner turmoil toward triumphant unfolding, placing Deutscher's musical language in dialogue with the symphonic tradition.
