Deborah Nemtanu & Romain Descharmes – Abbaye aux Dames, Saintes

About this event

Deborah Nemtanu and Romain Descharmes invite you on a journey to the heart of French modernity and its heritage. From the poetic freedom of Debussy's Sonata to the luminous elegance of Ravel's Sonatine, the program unfolds a world where color, nuance, and suggestion renew musical language. Ysaÿe's Second Sonata for solo violin evokes the spirit of Bach in a work that is as virtuosic as it is introspective. The evening's highlight, Franck's Sonata, unites lyrical intensity and masterful architecture in a seamless dialogue between violin and piano. A refined exploration of tradition and innovation.
