About this event
The event is presented as a lyric-conducting class led by Alain Altinoglu within the Conservatoire's 2026–2027 programme. It brings together the Conservatoire's laureate orchestra, students from the conducting class and students from the vocal disciplines department. The programme consists of nine short excerpts from French opera, opéra comique, opéra-bouffe and grand opera repertory, including quartets, quintets, trios and the prelude to Carmen. Emmanuelle Cordoliani is credited with stage direction, dramaturgy, lighting and spatial arrangement, with Alexandre Piquion, Yann Molenat and Damien Lehman serving as assistants in the conducting, stage and ensemble-music courses.
