About this event

This is a new ballet production choreographed by Lukas Zuschlag and created as a co-production with City Theatre Klagenfurt. The production places the classic fairy tale in a contemporary world shaped by social pressures, illusion, and the search for identity. The action moves into a boarding school and a shoe-factory construction site, where reality exists alongside a dream world of fairies and imagination. The lost shoe remains a central image, symbolizing connection, longing, and a new beginning. The continuation beyond the ending is left to the audience's imagination.
