Deux mondes opposés is a dance production by the Ballet de l'Opéra National de Bordeaux, presented within the Opéra National de Bordeaux's "Pour un Opéra hors les murs" project during the 2026-2027 season. The production is structured as a ballet for six dancers and two tableaux. Its first section uses Vivaldi's Four Seasons in a neoclassical treatment by Riccardo Zuddas. Its second section, Système à six corps, is a contemporary creation by Simon Asselin using music by Esteban Fernandez. The two approaches place classical heritage beside contemporary creation and respond to, confront and extend one another through dance.
