About this event

This is a concert presentation built around Philippe Jaroussky's interpretation of Antonio Vivaldi. The event presents Jaroussky's personal account of Vivaldi, a composer described as having accompanied his artistic path. Jaroussky performs with Ensemble Artaserse. The programme places sacred vocal repertoire alongside music for the stage, including Stabat Mater RV621, Nisi Dominus RV608, Mentre dormi, Gelido in ogni vena, and Sperai vicino il lido. It creates a concert structure based on the contrast between Vivaldi's devotional and theatrical writing rather than a staged opera production.
