About this event

This is a staged school concert for pupils in School Years 1–2. Five members of Ensemble Resonanz use stringed instruments together with everyday objects, including biscuit tins, zip fasteners, shoeboxes, raincoats and a wine glass, as sources of sound and stage action. Anselm Dalferth is credited with direction and conception. The production credits also name Carola Bauckholt for composition and conception, Lisa Busse for props, and Kevin Sock for lighting. The staging turns ordinary objects into instruments and uses short theatrical situations to organize the musical exploration, including scenes involving troublesome mosquitoes and a sea monster in the depths of the ocean.
