Part of Ensemble Resonanz’s urban string series and curated with NDR das neue werk, this late-night concert sets a conceptual dialogue between two composers born in 1926: Hans Werner Henze and Ruth Zechlin. Framed by a DJ set from Richard von der Schulenburg, the evening explores their contrasting artistic lives and contexts—from East Berlin to Montepulciano—through themes of love, professional realities, and the state of the world. The concert unfolds in the distinctive atmosphere of resonanzraum St. Pauli inside the historic Bunker Feldstraße, where chamber music meets the aesthetics of club culture. Doors and DJ begin at 20:00, with the main concert starting at 21:00.
