Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, Bordeaux

About this event

This family ciné-concert is built around Charlie Chaplin’s silent film The Kid. The film is projected while the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine performs the accompaniment live. The official material presents the format as a combination of silent cinema and orchestral performance rather than a staged opera or theatre production. Nefeli Chadouli conducts the orchestra for the Bordeaux performances. No director, set designer, costume designer, lighting designer, or projection designer is specified.
