About this event
This is an orchestral concert presented by the Opéra National de Bordeaux with the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine, conductor Joana Carneiro, and pianist François-Frédéric Guy. The event takes place at the Auditorium on 15 October 2026 and has a running time of two hours. The program contrasts two conceptions of the concerto: Beethoven places the piano in the foreground, while Bartók gives the orchestral sections prominent roles. Sofia Avramidou's Innsmouth completes the program. The presentation is a concert rather than a staged work.
