About this event

Dämmerland is presented as a live adaptation of a multimedia fantasy project created by Malte Hoyer, Hannes Braun and Annie Hurdy Gurdy. The project combines fantasy storytelling with music and exists across book, audio-play/audiobook and album formats. The second instalment, "DÄMMERLAND II - Zwischen zwei Himmeln," is described as an illustrated continuation novel, an audiobook adventure and a studio album containing 12 new compositions. The Hamburg production combines plot, live reading and music, featuring a live band ensemble, the original interpreters Malte Hoyer, Hannes Braun and Annie Hurdy Gurdy, speaker Stephan Benson, surprise guests and visual and sonic elements. The 2026 presentation introduces a new chapter with a storyline not previously told in a Dämmerland instalment, including selected major Dämmerland songs performed with guest artists.
