About this event

This is a live sacred choral concert by the Dresdner Kreuzchor at the Elbphilharmonie Großer Saal. The program is presented in two sections separated by a pause and includes sacred repertoire from the Renaissance, Baroque, Romantic, modern, and contemporary periods. The participants are the choir, conductor Martin Lehmann, organist Holger Gehring, cellist Katharina Schlegel, and double bassist Tillmann Steinhöfel. The choir also sings at services and Vespers in Dresden's Kreuzkirche. Its singers, aged 9 to 18, receive vocal and instrumental training through the Evangelisches Kreuzgymnasium and the choir's Alumnat.
