About this event

This is an instrumental anniversary concert by Hamburger Camerata, presented under the program title “MORE TO COME - Camerata zum Vierzigsten” as part of the ensemble’s 40th-anniversary context. The program combines Chris Walden’s commissioned contemporary work with music by Astor Piazzolla, Gioachino Rossini, and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. Christian Gerber’s arrangement of Piazzolla Concertant is followed by Rossini’s overture and Mendelssohn’s Fourth Symphony.
