Privatizace is a Czech spoken-theatre production written and directed by Petr Erbes and Boris Jedinák. It premiered at Nová scéna on 30 January 2025 and is now presented at La Fabrika because Nová scéna is being reconstructed. The production uses a documentary-fictional method based on interviews, memories, and testimonies transformed into staged situations. The audience sits on benches in an almost circular arrangement while actors address spectators directly about voucher privatization, wealth, freedom, and moral choice. The visual vocabulary includes hunting imagery, business references, winter sports clothing, and the gold dress associated with Renata Kellnerová. Credits include dramaturgy by Ilona Smejkalová, set and costume design by Lucia Škandíková, lighting by Karel Šimek, movement collaboration by Dora Sulženko Hoštová, and music by Tomáš Vtípil.
