Nachtträume is a ballet production choreographed by Marcos Morau and re-staged by Hessisches Staatsballett. The production originated as a Zurich Ballet work associated with 2022 and is described as a dance panopticon combining choreographic theatre with a darker stage composition. Its artistic framework draws on Kurt Jooss' anti-war dance work The Green Table from 1932 and includes historical references to Maurice Béjart's Boléro and The Rite of Spring. The music is by Clara Aguilar. Max Glaenzel's stage design creates a labyrinth of round tables and chairs, joined by red sun balls and intertwining bodies. Lighting is by Martin Gebhardt, costumes by Silvia Delagneau, dramaturgy by Israel Solà and Michael Küster, and video by Tieni Burkhalter. The public rehearsal provides access to the production process rather than presenting a separate work or programme.
