About this event

Because of You is structured as a single-evening benefit event at Julep rather than as a conventional concert-only programme. The published plan begins with a cocktail reception featuring live Latin music. It then pairs Mexican cuisine with live jazz and provides a silent auction and other opportunities to support the organization. The concluding performance is a live set by Voices of Our City Choir. The 2026 announcement says that the concert will include a first look at new music created by Choir Members and an additional surprise item, but it does not identify any individual composition, composer, conductor, orchestra, or soloist. Ticket revenue supports Voices of Our City's music and arts programming, case management, and wraparound services for San Diegans impacted by homelessness.
