About this event

The theatre presents the event as a chamber concert of classical operetta in the theatre foyer, rather than as a complete staging of one full-length operetta. Its organizing idea is the pairing of Silva and Edwin, the singer and lover from Imre Kalman's operetta "Сильва". The program combines excerpts from Viennese, Lehár and Russian operetta repertoire. The production team comprises director Marianna Kaydani, lighting designer Nikita Evdokimov, responsible accompanist Elena Chepurnaya and assistant director Timofey Tsyplakov. Seven opera soloists are named, but their characters, excerpts and individual performance dates are not assigned.
