This is a historically informed Baroque concert by Concerto Copenhagen, centered on complete performances of Bach's four orchestral suites. The ensemble uses one string player per part, creating a chamber-scale texture rather than a large modern symphonic sound. Lars Ulrik Mortensen leads from the harpsichord and is credited with musical direction. The programme includes flute, oboes, bassoon, violins, viola, cello, bass and harpsichord.
