About this event

This is a concert presentation built by George Benjamin as a carte blanche around the concerto genre. The event is framed through Benjamin's 40-year friendship with Ensemble intercontemporain, with Benjamin directing the concert. The participating forces are Ensemble intercontemporain, Orchestre du Conservatoire de Paris, and Ensemble NEXT, with John Stulz as viola soloist and Chisato Taniguchi as pianist.
