Keelpillifookus. Vivaldi. Aastaajad – Estonia Theatre And Concert Hall, Tallinn

About this event

This is the Vivaldi programme in the Keelpillifookus mini-festival, whose focus is string instruments and music written for them. The programme pairs Grieg's Op. 40 Holberg Suite with Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, in that order. Arabella Steinbacher performs on violin with the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra. The event is produced by SA Eesti Kontsert and presented in collaboration with Tallinna Filharmoonia. Steinbacher is associated with two violins: an Antonio Stradivari made in Cremona in 1718, known as ex Benno Walter, and a Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesù made in Cremona in 1744, known as Sainton; both instruments are provided by a private Swiss foundation. This classical concert includes an intermission and lasts approximately two hours. No staging, scenic concept, costumes, lighting concept, video component, or direct livestream is specified.
