About this event

This is Opera Comică pentru Copii’s 2023 children-oriented staging of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake. The production retains the ballet’s fairy-tale setting while adapting its artistic and technical means for young spectators. It is recommended for children aged three and over and runs for 75 minutes without an interval. Andreea Soare is credited with the direction and choreographic adaptation, following the classical choreography associated with Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov. The 2023 design credits are Alina Petrovschi for set design, Iuliana Gherghescu for costume design, and Alin Popa for lighting design. Marius Manole provides the voice of Prince Siegfried, adding a spoken narrative layer to the ballet.
