This is a concert presentation by Ensemble Atmospheres, a chamber orchestra led musically by conductor Ilyich Rivas. The program is built around chamber-orchestral works by Enescu, Boulez, Rivas, Gabriela Lena Frank, and Schoenberg, with the event centered on the participation of flutist Stathis Karapanos. The stated artistic concept connects works that invoke apparently obsolete musical forms with new creative paths emerging from their fragments.
