About this event
Athenaeum Jazz Fall 2026 Series is a three-concert jazz presentation marking 30 years of Athenaeum Jazz at Scripps Research. Joshua Redman with his quartet opens the series, David Sánchez presents the program "Tambó," and Gabrielle Cavassa concludes the series with an Athenaeum debut. The first two concerts take place at Scripps Research Auditorium, while the final concert is at the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library. The November 15 program connects jazz with African-rooted musical traditions of Puerto Rico and Colombia. No complete work list, composer list, or set list is published.
