About this event
Delay is a stage investigation into the hidden rhythm of time. The production creates an intimate relationship among the body, sound, and space, using light and stage technology as active components of the scenic environment. It is an interdisciplinary creation in which dance, light, sound, and stage technology construct an immersive experience and alter the perception of duration. Francisco Córdova is credited with choreography, general direction, lighting design, and scenographic concept. The production also includes software programming and engineering, original music and sound design, dramaturgy, costume design, and body-device interaction. The moon functions as a recurring scenic and conceptual image, presented as an apparently immovable witness and a metaphor for suspended time.
