ÜKSIKVISA is a new theatre production written by Ott Aardam and directed by Maria Peterson. Nele Sooväli is the designer, Karl Kermes is the producer, and the performers are Priit Pius and Laura Peterson Aardam. The production is a co-creation inspired by real-life events. Its central situation is an interview about relationships and family: Marko presents himself through his video blog as a reliable father, while journalist Liz arrives to report on how he rebuilt his life after divorce. Her account is complicated by the substantially different story she has heard from Marko's ex-wife Mirjam. The production explores care and control, love and unwanted protection, family after the end of a relationship, gendered relationship needs, and the boundary between private life and public storytelling.
