About this event

The two-act ballet The Nutcracker is staged by Arkady Zinov, with choreography by Vasily Vainonen and Sergey Bobrov and production design by Kristina Fedorova. The story combines Christmas atmosphere, children's games, fears, and hope for an unknown future. In Act I, guests gather at the Stahlbaum household, Drosselmeyer brings the Nutcracker, and at night the toys come to life and battle the Mouse King. In Act II, Marie and the Prince enter a fairy-tale country.
