About this event
CONTRE-NATURE is a 2024 contemporary dance work by French choreographer Rachid Ouramdane, produced by Chaillot - Théâtre national de la Danse. It uses ten dancers, aerial movement, physical contact, lifts, encounters and fluid motion to explore bodies meeting and moving away from the floor. A minimalist performance area is shaped by light, projected images and drifting mist. The work connects movement with time, childhood, aging, absence and the continuing influence of people who are no longer present.
