About this event

The DKSJ label brings together the five jazz departments of Swiss music academies for an annual joint project called the DKSJ All Star Project. The 2026 edition, titled SONGBOOK, invites pianist and vocalist Olivia Trummer to rearrange selected compositions from her existing oeuvre for her 20-year recording anniversary. The repertoire is presented through new interpretations, perspectives and collaborations. Two students from each of the five participating Swiss music universities form a temporary orchestra, which rehearses intensively for two days under Trummer's direction before touring five Swiss cities, including Basel.
